Dan Potacke Show- January 25th
January 19th, 2010Yay! Hi, Dan Potacke here! It's almost time for another Dan Potacke Show.

All the money in the Donation Bucket this week will be going to Doctors Without Borders Haiti Relief instead of going to Dan Potacke. So bring a couple extra Washingtons to toss in.
This time, I welcome the band Buried Future. Normally, they rock out by playing loud music known as "metal." But this time, they'll be rocking through the form of consise answers to interview questions! Oh yeah!
I'll also sit down with Emily Mills, who will talk about the upcoming Fireball II at High Noon Saloon. We'll also talk about her new job as a columnist for thedailypage.com and her new video webseries, Chapel.
We'll also welcome comedians Chris Holodya and my old pal Jon "ACTION" Lyons!

Dan Potacke Show - Jan 11th (and Sep 14th videos!)
January 6th, 2010Hi, Dan Potacke here! Guess what? The Dan Potacke Show is about to return for 2010! I'm going to will share my fitness tips as I work to get you in shape for the New Year.
Also, I will sit down with poet Marcos Lara as he reads selections from his book of poetry, "Praise, Pain & Lust." Um... I like the "Praise" part of that title.
Plus, comedian Dylan Brogan will tell jokes. You should come and laugh at his jokes, they are very funny and he's a nice man!!!
In other news, I've also put up new videos from the September 14th show. If you don't remember, September was the time when you could go outside for more than 30 seconds without freezing to death.
In this episode, I show off my new career as a motivational speaker. Then, I get interrupted by some guys who are tailgating... for local theatre. Local bicycling enthusiast "2Fast4U" stops by to give some bike safety tips. Plus, I interview local writer/director Rob Matsushita and the very nice band Kitty Rhombus!

December 1st, 2009Hi, Dan Potacke here! Brrrr, it's getting cold out but your roommate is too cheap to turn the thermostat above 63 degrees. Don't worry, there's plenty of free heat at The Dan Potacke Show! Plus, great prices on PBR to provide you with liquid heat for the walk home!
On this special um... Pearl Harbor anniversary... edition of the Dan Potacke Show, Potacke welcomes Rob Dz. Mr. Dz combines different genres of music to create a soulful experience. Rob has performed with such artists as Talib Kweli, Common, Twista and members of The Dave Matthews Band. Wait a minute, Dave Matthews Band? Really? I'll have to ask him about that.
Also coming to the stage will be Michele Good, artistic director for Laboratory Theatre. Laboratory Theatre is currently putting on a bold new interpretation of David Sedaris's Santaland Diaries. We will also chat about future Laboratory productions.
Finally, we will have comedian and all around nice guy Rick Yoose! Rick's got a smile and a wit that could charm anyone. INCLUDING YOU! So you should come see him tell jokes.

We'll have turkey! And tofu-based turkey substitutes!
Joining me for my Thanksgiving celebration will be Jay Moran. Jay is a veteran of the Madison music and comedy scene with a resume that makes other guitar-strummers and joke chuckers blush. On the music side, he's been involved in such bands as: O'bros, Emmettville, Know-It-All Boyfriends and he currently rocks Genna's every other Thursday along with Biff Blumfumgagne from the Gomers. On the comedy side, Jay has been in legendary Madison sketch group, The Prom Committee, and now is in Full Nelson Reilly, Full Nelson Reilly performs on the opposite Thursday's at Genna's. IF YOU GO TO GENNA'S ON THURSDAY, YOU WILL SEE JAY MORAN PERFORM EITHER COMEDY OR MUSIC!
Also, my mom is back! Yay! She will give me an update on the last several months of her life since she last came on the show! I'm sure it will be great!
That's not all! We've got a double dose of standup with Paul Hart and Ammar Ali! Paul will bring his winning smile and charming poop jokes that drive the ladies wild! Ammar Ali is a medical student, so I'm sure he'll have lots of jokes about that. His set will be like Scrubs, except funny.

Also joining Potacke on stage will be Josh Klessig, speaking about his music project: The Gentleman Loser! We'll be talking electronica as well as Josh's low self esteem, maybe Potacke can get him to change the name to Gentlemen WINNER!
Comedian Matt Sloan brings his years of experience in comedy, in both Improv (Monkey Business Institute) and filmmaking (Chad Vader), to the stage in a whole new way as he performs a set of stand-up comedy. Will it be awesome? (Spoiler Alert-IT WILL BE SUPER AWESOME!!)
